I have an early morning and need to be in bed, but I can't log offline.
My soul is groaning prayers inexpressible in words.
Beautiful, majestic Colorado Springs is an inferno. The city I called home for two and a half years is in flames.
Landscapes once so familiar are altered forever.

Waldo Canyon Fire is spreading fast, and it's nowhere near finished. At the time of this post, it's already engulfed 6,200 acres. 20,085 homes and 160 commercial structures are threatened per The Gazette.
I watch in horror as friends and media outlets post updates, pictures and videos.

Please join me in praying for Colorado Springs. Pray for help. For extinguishing rains and calmed winds. Also for the safety of those evacuating and the fire fighters. And that God will make Himself known in the midst of all this.
